If you have not ready the first book "Jason and Alexander" back up and do that first. Then come back and read this one. They are both amazing books and I loved both of them. In "The Return," the story goes into overdrive as the shadow creatures come out of the light o reclaim Alexander. This is more along the lines of Charmed with a lot of demon fighting and the balance of good and evil. Mullins has leaked that he is working on a prequel book that will be coming out free before the third installment of the series is done. I can't wait! If you haven't read these books, you really need to.
